What internet browser is the next best thing to ie?

I'm using a mac and the problem is there are websites that arent safari friendly (like friendster, t-mobile.com) and i'm considering a 2nd browser...any recommendations?

I suggest Mozilla Firefox, which is the best browser out there. It includes tabbed browsing, a beefed up security system, and it is faster. You can download a variety of themes to personalize Firefox, and there are plenty of extensions that you can download. For example, I have a weather forecast extension along with Adblock and FasterFox.

i would contact the company i brought it from to give me a list of internet browers and i would check mirosoft web site for update and help and the company you brought it fom go straight to the source of the problem
I'm not tryin to say bad things about firfox, cause i've never used it. But I LOVE my Opera! Like somone said before me Opera 9 Beta 2 includes: Feeds, Widgets, adjustable popup blocker, fast downloadable skins, and my favorite addition; you can block ads on any website, just right-click page say block content and boom gone never to be seen again. Get Opera, trust it has all these cool features "Built In", you don't have to download them like with firefox. I mean if Nintendo is putting Opera on their DS and Wii then it must be good.
