When I would login to Yahoo E Mail my mail / screen would Freeze up including my IE. I would have to close using my task manager. I was unable to find any thing on Yahoo help online to fix this. I spoke with Yahoo customer service and was able to fix by to doing the following.
1.open (Microsoft) Internet Explorer
2.click on “Tools”
3.click on “Internet Options”
4.click on “Advanced Tab”
5.remove – Check mark from option “Enable third party browser extensions (Requires Restart)”
6.click on “Applly”
7.close all programs and shut computer off
8.restart computer

download explorer 7 from yahoo page. It will solve your problem.

There is a problem with some of the older Yahoo Toolbars - sounds like this problem may be a symptom. Uninstall your Yahoo Toolbar from Add/Remove Programs and the problem will most likely go away.
If you like the toolbar and want to keep it around, upgrade to the latest version (click the yellow download button on http://toolbar.yahoo.com) and it will work fine.
